TRNC Improves Dangerous Road Shoulder Between Dörtyol and Türkmenköy
The Mesarya Municipality has completed repairs on the dangerous roadside between Dörtyol and Türkmenköy, a section that had long been a source of serious complaints.
According to the municipality's statement, the hazardous shoulder, which stretches about 6 kilometers from the Famagusta-Dörtyol roundabout to the secondary road connecting İnönü and Türkmenköy, has now been repaired in both directions. Thanks to the improvements, the road shoulders in this area are now much safer.
Mesarya Mayor Ahmet Latif emphasized that road safety is a top priority for the municipality and noted that they have resolved a longstanding issue that had caused significant concern among both local residents and drivers.
All work was carried out using municipal resources and staff.
