In the TRNC, three weather warnings from meteorologists remain in effect: weather for April 9th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Tuesday, April 9th, the region is affected by low pressure and cool, humid air. Variable cloudiness with showers and thunderstorms persists in Northern Cyprus today.

Air temperature remains within seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, thermometers will rise to 23°C. Particularly heavy precipitation is expected in the central regions of the country and on the Karpas Peninsula.

The wind is northeast, with gusts up to strong. No storms are expected in the region today.

Three emergency warnings from meteorologists continue to be in effect in the region: due to heavy rains, ultraviolet radiation, and the possibility of forest fires.

People with normal skin can stay in the sun for about 15 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

Weather for April 9th by regions: Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 22°C, Lapta – 20°C, Akdeniz - 21°C, Alevkaya - 18°C, Esentepe - 20°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 22°C, Güzelyurt – 23°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 23°C, Ercan – 23°C

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 19°C, Iskele – 23°C

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 21°C
