Application Deadline for Vocational Schools Ends Today in TRNC
Today marks the final day to submit applications for vocational schools in Northern Cyprus for the 2024-2025 academic year.
According to a written statement from the Ministry of National Education of the TRNC, students applying for the 9th grade of vocational and technical schools should submit their applications to the schools they currently attend.
The results of the student placements in their preferred schools and programs will be announced on Wednesday at the respective school directorates and on the official website of the Ministry of National Education: http://www.mebnet.net.
Students eligible for admission to the 9th grade of vocational high schools can enroll in the designated schools from June 27 to June 28, as specified in the academic calendar.
It's worth noting that report cards were distributed in middle schools on June 11. After receiving their certificates, 25,079 middle and high school students from 48 schools under the Directorate of General Secondary Education, 3,894 students from 12 schools under the Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education, and about 400 students from Apprenticeship and Adult Education Centers began their summer break.
Entrance exams were held from June 12 to June 21.
Applications for vocational high school programs from students who completed the 8th grade were accepted from June 20 to June 25.
The 2024-2025 academic year will begin on Monday, September 16, for schools under the Department of Primary Education, and on Tuesday, September 17, for schools under the Department of General Secondary Education and the Department of Vocational and Technical Education.
