Second Phase of the State Theaters Building Completed in TRNC
The second phase of the construction of the new building for the Turkish Cypriot State Theaters has been completed in Northern Cyprus. The project is planned to be inaugurated on World Theater Day, March 27.
According to the Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, the first phase involved completing the building's structural framework, while the second phase included rough construction work and exterior cladding.
In the third and final phase of the theater's construction, workers will complete the interior finishing, install lighting, and set up the stage, after which the building will be put into operation.
Fikri Ataoğlu thanked the company that won the tender, emphasizing that the construction process was carried out swiftly and efficiently.
The minister also expressed gratitude to all the ministry staff who contributed to the construction of this cultural institution.
