One-Way Traffic Introduced in Ozanköy Center
In preparation for the new school year, new traffic regulations are being implemented in Kyrenia. As of yesterday, a one-way traffic system has been introduced in the center of Ozanköy.

Mayor Murat Şenkul announced the change on his social media page. According to the mayor, these new traffic schemes are being rolled out in specific parts of the city just days before schools reopen.
“To improve traffic flow, at the request of the head of Ozanköy, we have implemented a one-way (circular) traffic system in the village center,” wrote the mayor of Kyrenia.
Until drivers adjust to the new traffic scheme, traffic police will be stationed in the village to guide motorists and direct them, highlighting the new road signs.
“Roadwork will soon take place at the turn onto Molto Market Street on Ugur Mumcu Street to expand the roundabout and improve the road, facilitating turns towards the Oscar Hotel area and the Bellapais/Ozanköy road,” added the mayor.
