The 16th Tulip Festival of Tepebaşı will take place in North Cyprus over the weekend
The traditional celebration is organized in collaboration with the Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel municipality, the Tepebaşı mukhtar's office, and TEPDER.
The festival will be held on March 16th and 17th at the village square of Tepebaşı. According to the municipality, the main theme of this year's festival will be raising public awareness by showcasing the diversity of the Medoş tulip, one of Cyprus's endemics.
The festival will commence on Saturday, March 16th, at 10:30 a.m. with the Medoş tulip parade. Throughout the day, there will be folk dance shows, sales of handicrafts, and food stalls.

Also, two bus tours to the land of tulips are scheduled for the day, and the first day of the festival will conclude with a concert at 3:00 p.m.
On Sunday, March 17th, the events will start with a morning nature walk at 7:30 a.m., followed by a tour to the land of tulips at 12:30 p.m. Folk dance performances are planned throughout the day. The festival will end with a concert by the Grup Baria band.
