Rally Championship on Northern Cyprus This Weekend: Road Closure Schedule
During the upcoming weekend, some roads in Northern Cyprus will be closed to traffic due to the Rally Championship.
The 5th race of the 2024 Northern Cyprus Rally Championship will be organized by the Tourist and Automobile Association of Northern Cyprus (KKTOK) on August 17-18, 2024, in Nicosia. The races will take place on the Hamitköy, Fair Square, Balıkesir, Merik, and Mora sections.
According to information provided by the police, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, the races will be held at 16:30 and 17:00. Participants will start from Ali Hoca Street (opposite Sami Doğan Motors) in Hamitköy. The road will be temporarily closed, and traffic will be redirected to alternative routes.
On Sunday, August 18, 2024, the races will take place from 10:30 to 16:30 in Nicosia, Balıkesir, Merik, and Mora.
During the races, drivers using these routes are advised to adhere to speed limits and follow road signs.
