The Turkish Cyprus Cycling Federation will organize a cycling race (North Cyprus Granfondo) in Iskele. The races will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 25th and 26th.
The Saturday cycling race will start at 09:30 in front of the Babutsa cafe on Iskele Long Beach. Participants will follow the route Lokum Circle-Ünimar Circle, the city center of Iskele, Ardahan, Turnalar, Ergazi, Büyükkonuk, Çayırova, and Iskele Bosphorus. The race will finish at the starting point in front of the Babutsa cafe.
The Sunday cycling event will start at 09:30 at the same cafe and finish there as well. The race route will change: Lokum Circle-Akova, Mallıdağ, Tatlısu, Mersinlik, Kaplıca, Büyükkonuk, Çayırova, and Iskele Bosphorus.
Throughout the race, cyclists will be accompanied by a police escort, and all intersections and circles on the route will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Drivers using the specified routes on the mentioned days are asked to observe speed limits, maintain a safe distance, and adhere to road signs, markings, and indicators.
