During Eid al-Fitr, Ercan Airport will accommodate 375 aircraft

During the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, Ercan Airport will serve 375 arriving and 374 departing aircraft. The celebrations will last for 9 days in the TRNC - from April 5 to 14.

According to a statement by the servicing company T&T Airport Management, a total of 749 aircraft will be served at the airport during the festive days, including regular, charter, and additional flights, excluding private aircraft.

It is noted that the extension of the Eid al-Fitr holiday to 9 days in the TRNC following the Turkish Republic has increased expectations for mutual passenger flow between the two countries.

Before the upcoming holiday, the airport management has taken all precautions for the safe and comfortable service of passengers.

The highest density of aircraft is expected on the last day of the holiday, Sunday, April 14: Ercan Airport will handle 84 aircraft, with 42 arrivals and departures each.

On the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Ercan, there will be 36 departing and arriving flights.

It is worth reminding that earlier it was reported that this year in the TRNC, the celebration of Eid al-Fitr will last for 9 days for civil servants. During a meeting of the Council of Ministers, it was decided to declare Monday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 9, as public holidays, which fall on the eve of the holiday.
