Drivers Cautioned About Blasting Work on Major Road
Blasting operations are scheduled to take place today in Northern Cyprus, between the Gönyeli roundabout and the Boğaz junction. Drivers are urged to proceed with extra caution in the area.
According to the Department of Highways, the blasting will be carried out between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. as part of ongoing construction for a bridge crossing project.
During this period, traffic along the affected section will be regulated and managed under controlled conditions.
Motorists using this route are advised to reduce speed, keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and follow all traffic signs and road markings.
