YSK announced the voting schedule for Sunday: polling stations will open at 08:00 and close at 18:00.

The Supreme Electoral Council of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (YSK) announced that voting in the upcoming elections will take place on Sunday between 08:00 and 18:00.
According to the official statement, all polling stations will open precisely at 8 a.m., and doors will close at 6 p.m. Voters who are already inside at the time of closing will be allowed to finish casting their ballots.
YSK reminded that each voter must present a valid photo ID — either a passport or a TRNC citizen identity card. Voting will be conducted using a single ballot paper, and voters must clearly mark their choice without damaging the document.
The council also emphasized that all campaigning is prohibited on election day, and silence and order must be observed near polling stations. To avoid queues, citizens are advised to arrive early, especially in larger towns.
According to YSK, several hundred polling stations will operate across Northern Cyprus on that day. All ballots will be counted immediately after the stations close, and preliminary results will start arriving at the central election headquarters in the evening.
