In the first half of 2025, Ercan Airport served over 2.59 million passengers and more than 17,000 aircraft.
Ercan Airport — the main air gateway of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus — shows steady growth in passenger numbers and flight operations in 2025 compared to the first half of the previous year.
The island's largest airport, Ercan stands out for its high level of service and its modern, eco-friendly terminal equipped with energy-efficient technologies and comfortable areas for passengers.
According to the operator T&T, from January to June 2025, the number of passengers increased by 18.73% and the number of flights by 23.22% compared to the same period in 2024.
In the first half of 2024, 2,181,947 passengers passed through the airport, while in 2025 the figure rose to 2,590,576. The number of aircraft handled grew from 14,069 to 17,336.
