Tomorrow in Kyrenia the “Karaoğlanoğlu Sports Games and Sea Festival” will begin

Tomorrow in Kyrenia the “Karaoğlanoğlu Sports Games and Sea Festival”, organized by the municipality, will begin.

The event will take place from July 3 to 6 with the support of the Sea Star Aid Association and the Mediterranean Sports Union.

Festival Program

Visitors can expect:

• sports games,
• concerts,
• stage shows,
• competitions,
• food and beverage stands.

According to the official statement, the festival is being held for the third time. This year, for the first time in Northern Cyprus, a 6 km night run will take place during the event.

In addition to beach and sea competitions, the program includes:

• laser and optimist sailing show races,
• yoga sessions,
• gymnastics,
• dance shows.

The festival will also host DEYAD events in memory of Deniz Nasıfoğlu and a fishing competition in honor of Gülseren Ataker.

Concert Program

Every evening at 21:00 there will be concerts, and at 22:30 — DJ performances:

• July 3 — Grup Gancelli will take the stage;
• July 4 — Niyal Öztürk and DJ Beste Özgül;
• July 5 — Hikmet Kurtarıcıoğulları and DJ Halil Erhan;
• July 6 — Grup Otantik will perform.

Final Day

On July 6, the final day of the festival, there will be a barbecue party titled “Grills are on: Bring your own meat”.

That evening at 20:00, the Karaoğlanoğlu Sports Club will hold a bingo drawing.
