School markets in North Cyprus

Before the start of the school year, the question of purchasing everything necessary for schoolchildren arises. We are looking for places where you can buy everything at once.

There are no school bazaars in the classical sense, which are organized in Russia, in Northern Cyprus. But there are chain stores where you can find everything you need for students, not only before September but throughout the year.

Deniz Plaza

The most popular chain is called Deniz Plaza. The stores sell children's books, textbooks, notebooks, stationery, drawing supplies - in general, everything you need for school. You can also purchase many office items here. The chain's stores also offer copying and booklet-making services; you can print any materials in any format.

Berberoğlu

The Berberoglu brothers' stores have been operating in Northern Cyprus since 1970, now there are four stores - two in Nicosia, one on the campus of the Cyprus International University, and one in Girne. Most textbooks are sold to older schoolchildren and students.

Pengu Toys

Pengu Toys has two stores - in Nicosia and Girne. Despite the name, there aren't many toys, but a good selection of school items. Here the emphasis is placed on primary schoolchildren.

Pengu Toys is open from 8 am to 7 pm, Deniz Plaza - from 9 am to 7 pm (on weekends from 10 am to 6 pm)

Can I buy online?

On the Deniz Plaza website, you can view the range and place an order. Free delivery is promised for purchases over 750 liras.

Pengu Toys also has an online store on its website Pengutoys.com.
