Events schedule in Northern Cyprus in June

June marks the beginning of the high season in Northern Cyprus and the Mediterranean in general, so it's time for beaches to take over from the almost daily shows and concerts. However, we've managed to find a few interesting events, and one of them will take place on the first day of the month!

Family Festival

A real holiday for children and their parents will take place in Alsancak Park on International Children's Day. The program includes a wide variety of trampolines, face painting, animators, beauty bar, stilt walkers, clowns, a wide selection of food, snacks, and drinks, a concert program by "Sabi Band," and lively tracks by DJ Ygito.

Play "Death and the Maiden"

A stage adaptation of Ariel Dorfman's immortal work. The play was written in 1990 in Spanish. The work tells about the consequences of psychological damage to people in a country emerging from under the rule of a totalitarian dictatorship in Chile. Today the play is performed in the drama genre, starring Turkish actors Esra Naz Özel, Gökhan Doğan, and Tamer Güven.

Opera and Tango Show "Tango Operatico"

A blend of opera and tango is already intriguing. Moreover, you will be treated to the vocal of opera diva from Kazakhstan Zarina Altynbayeva and the virtuoso performance of the famous accordionist from Tatarstan Aydar Gainullin - this duet has already conquered the Berlin Philharmonic and is now heading to Cyprus.

Pop-Up Fashion Festival
