Famagusta — Nicosia Buses

Regular trips between Famagusta and the capital of Northern Cyprus are operated by İtimat.

Departures are from the Famagusta office of the carrier, and arrivals are at the Nicosia (Lefkoşa) bus station. The return route uses the same locations.

The route operates daily and is considered one of the most stable and in-demand in the TRNC.

Hourly from 07:00 to 18:00 in both directions.

GECE Buses

The second company serving this route is GECE, offering more frequent trips on weekdays.

Departures are from the Famagusta office of the carrier, and arrivals are at the Nicosia (Lefkoşa) bus station. The return route uses the same locations.

Bus Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: buses run every 30 minutes from 06:30 to 18:30.
  • Saturday: buses run hourly from 08:30 to 18:30.
  • Sunday: buses run hourly from 08:00 to 18:00.

İtimat:

  • Contactless bank card payment: 200 TL

GECE:

  • Payment only via Adakart: 200 TL

Using the Adakart app, you can purchase tickets in advance and scan the QR code when boarding.

Parcel Delivery between Famagusta and Nicosia

The company İtimat also provides parcel delivery service between the cities.

Delivery costs are determined at the office and depend on the size and weight of the parcel.

Delivery vehicles depart every hour from 07:00 to 17:00.
