Cost of Public Transportation in Northern Cyprus
For the year 2023, the government of Northern Cyprus has established new tariffs. In short, everything depends on the distance traveled, with the cheapest and shortest trip costing 20 lira, and the most expensive and longest trip costing 90 lira.
Examples of bus fares:
- Nicosia - Kyrenia: 40 lira
- Nicosia - Guzelyurt: 45 lira
- Nicosia - Famagusta: 50 lira
- Famagusta - Kyrenia: 60 lira
- Famagusta - Iskele: 40 lira
- Kyrenia - Guzelyurt: 60 lira
- Kyrenia - Alsancak/Lapta: 30 lira
- Nicosia - Dipkarpaz: 90 lira
- Nicosia - Lefke: 60 lira
