What tests are required for obtaining residence permit?
- Blood from a vein (to check for dangerous infectious diseases, which include HIV, viral hepatitis B and C, as well as syphilis);
- Tuberculosis test (the shot is the equivalent of a Mantoux reaction, and you have to come back 3 days later to show the vaccination site);
- Instead of or together with the injection, fluorography is prescribed, also for tuberculosis. It is performed in public clinics; here is a list of them.
Important: If one of the tests is positive, you will be denied a residence permit, even if you own a property.
