Pissouri Beach

This wide sandy-pebble beach is located in Pissouri Bay and is part of a relatively young tourist destination that is still lesser-known compared to Ayia Napa or Paphos. One of the main highlights of the area is its preserved authentic Cypriot atmosphere — landscapes, traditional style, and tranquility. The beach is surrounded by the cliffs of Cape Aspro, a state-protected zone that shields the coast from northern winds.

The sea entrance is gently sloping, although the depth increases quickly in some areas, allowing for swimming, snorkeling, or diving just a few meters from the shore. There are small stones on the seabed, so it’s recommended to wear water shoes, especially for children. The sea is usually calm, with no strong waves.

The beach is about 1.5 kilometers long and up to 90 meters wide. While swimming is possible along the entire shore, the central section is the most convenient due to fewer seaweeds and stones.
