An Evening of French Music and Poetry
The Petrideio Foundation invites you to spend a wonderful evening dedicated to French music and poetry in the cozy atmosphere of Technopolis 20.
The concert program includes refined miniatures for piano and voice by Fauré and Debussy.
We will walk through the ruins of an ancient abbey and hear "cool echoes mixed with the wind." We will admire the sunset, reflect on life, and let the starry night lull us with dreams full of beloved images.
We will also hear Ravel's arrangements of Greek songs - works where the beauty of folklore is combined with the elegance of impressionist harmony.
And then we will gently transition to Greek and Cypriot melodies, brought to life by the sound of the voice, piano, flute, and accordion, where folk motifs intertwine with a poetic atmosphere.
