Joseph Brodsky is a poet and a man who always lived in spite of. Recognized by many, he was never able to return to his homeland. But he left us poems in which life, no matter how difficult it may be, is always worth fighting for to the last.
Joseph Brodsky's Evening is poetry on the nerve, lined with biography and music. The figure of one of the main poets of the 20th century looks different for each reader.
Actor Andrei Martynov, accompanied by Marina Rud's piano, will show his Brodsky: a man who is as talented as he is lonely.
Andrei Martynov is an actor of theater and cinema. Graduate of the Moscow Theatre School of Oleg Tabakov. Worked at the Tabakov Theatre, the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, from 2018 to 2024 he was a leading actor at the M.N. Ermolova Theatre, where he played in such performances as "Look Back in Anger", "Peer Gynt", "Macbeth", "Master Servant", "(NOT) Ideal CHE", "Invitation to a Beheading", etc.
Winner of the Lobanov Prize for the role of Jimmy in the play "Look Back in Anger".
