Ayia Napa Medieval Festival

For five days and nights, the central square and its surrounding streets will fill with knights, folk dancers, street theatre, dragons, stilt-walkers and fire artists offering free entertainment for all.
Ayia Napa once again fills with knights, queens, kings, dragons, witches, and acrobats! From Wednesday 8th October to Sunday 12th October 2025, the 20th Ayia Napa Medieval Festival returns at Giorgos Seferis Square, bringing history and legend to life. Free entry.

Since 2006, the festival has become one of the largest of its kind in Cyprus and Europe. The program includes street theatre, medieval music and dance, and international groups from Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, and more, recreating the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.

Visitors will enjoy medieval markets with wine, food, crafts, exhibitions of weapons, embroidery, and textiles, as well as costumed parades inspired by “The Crusaders’ Roads”.
