Carnival 2026

Limassol Carnival 2026 is one of the brightest and largest events in Cyprus, transforming the city into a space of celebration, music, and colors for ten days. The carnival begins on February 12 on Tsiknopempti — the traditional “Meat Thursday,” when the Carnival King ceremoniously enters the city, and the streets fill with music, treats, and fun.
One of the most beloved events is the children’s carnival parade, usually held on the first weekend and gathering families from across the island. The highlight of the celebration will be the Grand Carnival Parade on February 22 along Makariou Avenue — with colorful floats, dance groups, and thousands of participants.
The Limassol Carnival Fiesta, taking place February 21–22 at ETKO Limassol, will give the carnival a modern sound. Four stages, live performances, and DJ sets in various musical styles will create the atmosphere of a large-scale festival, combining traditions, culture, and contemporary entertainment.
