Mariliza Papadouri Papangelidi’s cello
Cellist Mariliza Papadouri Papangelidi celebrates 40 years of her artistic journey and a special bond with the cello with a chamber concert at Technopolis 20. This evening will be a rare opportunity to hear live performances of complex and iconic works from the classical repertoire, filled with deep musicality and virtuosic technique.
The program features works by Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, Frédéric Chopin, Camille Saint-Saëns, Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, Gaspar Cassadó, Aram Khachaturian, Astor Piazzolla, and Mikis Theodorakis. The concert is conceived as a musical dialogue between the cello and the piano—two instruments whose sounds are inseparably connected and complement each other.
