Mother. Woman. Artist. is a candid and powerful stage performance in the format of a stand-up circus, created at the intersection of circus, theater, and personal testimony.
The performer Marianna de Sanctis uses physical theater, acrobatics, hula hoops, comedy, and poetic storytelling to address violence, discrimination, and a woman’s right to voice and identity.
It is an emotionally honest and courageous work in which the stage becomes a space of vulnerability and, at the same time, absolute female power. The story of a mother, woman, and artist transforms into an act of resistance, survival, and triumph. After the performance, the audience is invited to an open dialogue with the performer to discuss what they have seen and the themes raised in the show.
