May 14th: Clear Weather with Light Rain Expected in Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, May 14th, the region is experiencing weak low pressure, with a transition to weak high pressure expected from Thursday onwards.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, with occasional low cloudiness. It is expected that after noon, clouds will bring isolated showers and possibly thunderstorms, especially in the mountains, as well as in southern and eastern regions, and possibly in inland areas.

The meteorological forecast indicates that the air temperature will rise to 27°C during the day in inland areas, up to 25°C on the coasts, and up to 16°C in mountainous regions.

By the evening, the weather will be predominantly clear. In some places, especially on the coasts, increased low cloudiness will be observed. Gradually, there will also be an increase in average and high cloudiness. Later, in the early morning hours, light fog may form in inland areas and in the southeast.

The air temperature will drop to 15°C inland, down to 16°C on the coast, and down to 8°C in mountainous areas.

It is expected that on Wednesday, the air temperature will remain at the same level. However, by Friday, it will gradually rise and exceed the average climatic values of the season.
