On December 16, local rains and thunderstorms are expected in Cyprus.

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, December 16, the region will temporarily be affected by weak low pressure.

This morning, the weather will gradually become cloudy. In the afternoon, local rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected to start in the northwest and gradually affect other areas.

According to the weather forecast, daytime temperatures today will rise to about 18°C inland, 20°C along the coast, and 9°C in the mountains.

This evening, variable cloud cover with isolated showers or thunderstorms is expected, mainly along the coast. Nighttime temperatures will drop to about 12°C inland and along the coast, and to 4°C in the mountains.

On Tuesday, the weather will be cloudy with occasional isolated showers. By evening, the weather will become mostly clear. On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly sunny.

For the next three days, temperatures will remain relatively unchanged and close to the seasonal average.
