Cloudy Weather and Strong Winds Expected in Cyprus on September 16
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, September 16, the island will be affected by weak low pressure and a strong westerly airflow.
Increased cloud cover is expected in the western half of the island during the morning, extending to other regions later in the day.
The forecast predicts daytime temperatures will rise to around 31°C in inland areas and along the southeastern and eastern coasts, approximately 29°C on the western, southwestern, and northern coasts, and about 22°C in mountainous regions.
By evening and through the night, cloud cover will increase, particularly in the west, north, and mountain areas.
Temperatures will drop to 18°C in inland regions, 22°C on the western and northern coasts, around 20°C on the other coastal areas, and as low as 10°C in the higher mountains.
In the coming days, the weather is expected to be mostly sunny, although there may be some localized cloud cover.
By Thursday, temperatures will rise slightly, approaching average seasonal levels.
