Sunny Weather Expected in Cyprus on August 20th: Temperatures to Reach 39°C

According to the Cyprus Meteorological Department, on Tuesday, August 20th, the region will continue to be influenced by seasonal low pressure and warm air masses.

The weather is expected to be mostly sunny during the morning.

The meteorological service predicts that daytime temperatures will reach up to 39°C in inland areas, around 33°C on the southeastern, eastern, and northern coasts, and up to 31°C on the western and southwestern coasts, as well as in the mountains.

By evening and overnight, the weather will remain mostly clear, although a temporary increase in low cloud cover may occur.

Temperatures are expected to drop to 21°C in inland areas, 23°C on the coasts, and 20°C in the mountains during the night.

The weather is expected to stay mostly clear over the next few days. However, on Thursday and Friday, there could be localized cloudiness, with the possibility of isolated brief showers in the mountains after noon.

A slight change in temperature is expected on Wednesday, with a slight drop on Thursday, bringing temperatures closer to average climatic levels.
