A 21-year-old woman brought 16 kilograms of drugs to Cyprus in her luggage
Police arrested a young woman at Larnaca Airport. She had 16 kilograms of drugs in her luggage.
According to the police press service, the 21-year-old woman was arrested at Larnaca Airport on Monday after 16 kilograms of marijuana were found in her luggage.
It is known that the suspect arrived on the island on a morning flight from abroad. Where exactly is not specified.
During the search of her luggage inside the suitcase, the police and customs officers found a large batch of cannabis. The drugs were packaged separately - a total of 28 packages.
The woman is arrested. It is expected that on Tuesday she will be brought to court for detention. The police investigation into this matter continues.
