Heat Persists in Cyprus with Temperatures Reaching Up to 41°C
According to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology, on Tuesday, July 23, the region is under the influence of seasonal low pressure and warm air.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear in the first half of the day, although some areas may experience increased cloudiness.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will rise to 41°C in the interior regions, 37°C on the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, and 33°C on the western coast in the mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear. Thin fog and low cloud cover are expected locally in the morning hours.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to 25°C in the interior regions, the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, around 24°C on the western coast, and down to 22°C in the mountainous areas.
The weather is expected to remain unchanged in the coming days, with temperatures staying above average, but a slight decrease is expected on Thursday and Friday.
