June 27: Temperatures Up to 41°C in Cyprus, Possible Rain in the Mountains
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, June 27, the region will be under the influence of seasonal low pressure.
Today, after the morning fog and low clouds dissipate, the weather will become mostly clear. In the afternoon, increased cloudiness is expected in the mountains, which may result in isolated showers.
The meteorological service forecasts that today's temperatures will rise to 41°C in the inland areas, up to 32°C on the western coast, up to 34°C on other coastal areas, and up to 33°C in the mountainous regions.
By the evening, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be temporary increases in low cloudiness, mainly along the coasts. In the early morning hours, local thin fog and low clouds are likely to form, primarily in the southeast.
Temperatures will drop to 25°C inland, to 24°C on the southern and eastern coasts, and to 24°C on the western and northern coasts as well as in the mountainous regions.
It is expected that until Wednesday, temperatures will gradually increase slightly, while on Thursday, they will not change significantly, remaining above average climatic values.
Until Friday, temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, but on Saturday, they will decrease, staying close to or slightly above average climatic values. No significant changes are expected on Sunday.
