Cyprus Weather for May 29: Sunny Morning, Showers and Thunderstorms Expected in the Afternoon
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, moderate low pressure is expected to affect the region on Thursday, May 29.
The day will start off mostly sunny, but by the afternoon, cloud cover is expected to increase in some areas. This could lead to scattered showers or even isolated thunderstorms—mainly in the mountains, inland regions, and parts of the east. The sea will be slightly rough.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to rise to around 32°C inland, 26–28°C along the coast, and about 23°C in the mountains. In the evening, skies will remain mostly clear, although some areas may experience patches of low cloud or light fog in the early morning hours. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 15°C inland, 17°C on the coast, and 10°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, partly cloudy conditions are expected, with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures over the weekend are expected to stay slightly below the seasonal average.
