September 4th: Rain, Thunderstorms, and Hail Continue in Cyprus
The Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus reports that on Wednesday, September 4th, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass.
During the first half of the day, expect locally increased cloudiness, with isolated showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. There is also a possibility of hail during these thunderstorms.
The meteorological service forecasts daytime temperatures reaching up to 35°C in inland areas, 31°C on the western coast, around 33°C on the other coasts, and up to 25°C in the mountainous areas.
By evening and into the night, the weather will be mostly clear, though there may be patches of low clouds in the western and northern regions.
Overnight, temperatures will drop to 22°C in inland areas, 24°C along the coasts, and 17°C in the mountains.
In the coming days, localized cloud buildup is expected, which could bring isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, primarily in the mountains and inland regions.
Temperatures will gradually rise, fluctuating above the average climatic values.
