Clear Weather with Afternoon Showers in the Mountains Expected in Cyprus on August 5
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, August 5, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure.
During the first half of the day, most of the island will experience predominantly clear weather, although coastal areas may see occasional low cloud cover. In the afternoon, isolated short-term showers are possible in the mountains. According to the meteorological service, daytime temperatures will rise to 38°C in inland areas, up to 32°C on the western and southwestern coasts, around 36°C on other coasts, and up to 31°C in mountainous areas.
By evening and night, the weather will remain mostly clear, but some coastal areas, especially in the west and north, may experience increased low cloud cover.
Air temperatures will drop to 22°C in inland areas, to 24°C on the coasts, and to 20°C in the mountains.
In the coming days, air temperatures are expected to remain at current levels, close to or slightly above the seasonal norm.
