5-kilometer section of the Limassol-Paphos highway closed due to maintenance work
Since 8 a.m., inspection and maintenance work has been carried out on the Limassol-Paphos highway, resulting in a temporary road closure.
The police report that this is related to previously started works (inspection and maintenance of bridges) on the Limassol-Paphos highway. In particular, two lanes from Limassol to Paphos are closed between the Episkopi weighing station and the Sotira exit (about 5 km in length).
Traffic on the highway will be diverted to the opposite lane, which will operate as a two-way lane.
