Clear Skies with Afternoon Showers Expected in Cyprus on May 5
According to the Republic of Cyprus Department of Meteorology, moderate low pressure will affect the region on Monday, May 5.
The day will begin mostly sunny, but by midday, increased cloud cover may bring isolated showers—mainly in the mountains and southern areas. The sea is expected to become slightly choppy as the day progresses.
Temperatures during the day will reach around 27°C inland, 25°C along the coast, and 18°C in the mountains.
Tonight’s forecast calls for mostly clear skies, although some areas may see patchy cloud cover. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 11°C inland, 14°C in coastal areas, and 8°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead, Tuesday will bring periods of increased cloudiness in some regions. On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly clear. Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the week, eventually climbing above the seasonal average.
