Mass Brawl Involving 50 Foreign Nationals Erupts Outside Nicosia Nightclub
A large brawl involving around 50 foreign nationals broke out outside a nightclub in Nicosia during the early hours of Easter Sunday.
According to the police press office, those involved were seen wielding iron rods and other makeshift weapons, including flower pots and traffic cones.
Officers from the Ledra police substation were the first to respond, followed shortly by reinforcements. Their quick intervention helped bring the situation under control and restore order.
The nightclub’s facade was damaged during the altercation.
Thanks to the swift action of the authorities, tensions were diffused and the individuals involved quickly dispersed. No injuries or arrests were reported, but police say the investigation is still ongoing.
