September 6 Weather: Clear Skies with Rain in the Mountains
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Friday, September 6, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass.
For most of the island, the morning will bring mostly clear skies, with occasional patches of local cloudiness. However, by the afternoon, clouds forming over the mountains and inland areas will lead to scattered rain and thunderstorms.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach up to 36°C in inland areas, 31°C along the western and southwestern coasts, around 33°C on the other coasts, and a cooler 25°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening and into the night, the weather will remain mostly clear, though low cloud cover will increase in some areas.
Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 22°C inland, 24°C on the coasts, and 18°C in the mountains.
In the coming days, the weather across most of the island will stay largely clear, with occasional cloud cover. However, after midday, rain and thunderstorms may develop over the mountains and inland areas.
Temperatures are expected to remain stable through Monday, hovering around the seasonal averages.
