Warm Air Mass Spreading Over Cyprus from May 7

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, a warm air mass will begin moving across the region on Wednesday, May 7. Dust may also be present in the atmosphere at times.

Clear skies are expected during the first half of the day, while the sea will be slightly rough.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 31°C inland, 26°C along the coast, and 22°C in the mountains.

Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear, although some areas may see increased cloud cover. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to around 14°C inland, 16°C on the coasts, and 12°C in mountainous areas.

Looking ahead, Thursday will bring partly cloudy conditions, with intervals of mid- and high-level cloud cover. On Friday, mostly clear skies are expected. Temperatures will continue to rise noticeably and will remain above seasonal averages.
