Cloudy Weather with Thunderstorms Expected in Cyprus on September 9
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, September 9, the island will experience low atmospheric pressure and a relatively unstable air mass.
The first half of the day will see some increased cloud cover. In the afternoon, those clouds could bring scattered showers or even thunderstorms, especially in the mountains, inland areas, and the northern part of the island.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach up to 37°C in inland areas, 31°C along the western and southwestern coasts, around 33°C on other coastal areas, and up to 27°C in the mountains.
By evening and into the night, the weather will clear up, though localized fog and low cloud cover may form in the early morning, particularly in northern and eastern regions.
Overnight temperatures will drop to around 20°C inland, 22°C along the coasts, and 17°C in the mountains.
Rainy conditions are expected to persist across the island until Thursday.
By Wednesday, temperatures will gradually decrease, nearing the seasonal average, with a slight rise forecasted for Thursday.
