Number of ICT specialists in Cyprus has nearly doubled over the past decade, says Deputy Minister
In Nicosia on 11 September 2025, Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Nikodemos Damianou announced that the number of information and communication technology (ICT) specialists in Cyprus has nearly doubled over the past ten years.
According to the Deputy Minister, this growth resulted from targeted policies.
The statement was published by the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).
The report notes that the data covers a ten-year period during which the number of ICT professionals on the island has significantly increased.
For residents of Cyprus, this means having a greater number of specialists in the digital field and, consequently, an expansion of professional resources in the relevant sectors.
