UK Parliamentary Delegation Arrives in Cyprus for Official Talks
A delegation of British parliamentarians has arrived in Cyprus for a series of official meetings. The group, representing the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Cyprus, will remain on the island until May 29.
On Tuesday, the delegation will be received by President Nikos Christodoulides. They will also visit the House of Representatives and hold talks with the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
On Wednesday, the delegation will meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Annita Demetriou, before heading to Deryneia for a number of working meetings.
Thursday’s agenda includes a meeting with Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos. The MPs will also visit the UNFICYP headquarters and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation in Nicosia.
