Mass Brawl Between Two Families of Foreigners in Limassol
In Limassol, two families engaged in a massive brawl, using crowbars and sticks.
According to the police press service, the mass brawl began around 9:00 PM. The fight involved members of two separate Syrian families. One group had about 30 people, and the other had at least 20.
When the police arrived at the scene, the participants fled. Two people were injured in the fierce fight and were taken to the hospital. A 42-year-old man suffered a concussion, while a 29-year-old man had hematomas and was discharged.
During the investigation, it was found that the first group of 30 people, armed with crowbars and sticks, attacked the second group, causing damage to six of their cars. The brawl led to significant destruction in the city. The exact cause of the conflict is currently being investigated by the police.
The investigation is ongoing. Five arrest warrants have been issued for specific individuals believed to be involved in the incident. The scene remains under police guard.
