Two men arrested for drug possession in Nicosia
The Cyprus Republic Police arrested two men in Nicosia on suspicion of drug possession. Cocaine and marijuana were found in their possession.
According to the police press office, during a raid in Ayios Dometios, the narcotics squad arrested two men aged 22 and 62.
In the car of the 22-year-old, narcotics officers found 10 grams of cocaine and 8 grams of marijuana. Further investigation revealed approximately 100 grams of cocaine and around 60 grams of cannabis during a search of the suspect's house.
According to the police, a 62-year-old suspect was also present in the house. An unfinished cigarette containing some cannabis and a grinder with traces of drugs were found with him. The elderly man was also arrested.
