Famagusta becomes the first in Cyprus to introduce an AI-powered digital assistant for tourists

The free areas of Famagusta have become the first tourist destination in Cyprus to develop an AI-powered digital assistant for visitors. You can already talk to it.
The project was implemented by the Famagusta Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) with the support of the Cyprus Ministry of Tourism. The system was developed by RevitUp as part of the online platform: visitfamagusta.com.cy.
The digital assistant can understand, learn and adapt to each visitor’s needs, offering personalized recommendations. It provides information on attractions, beaches, cultural events and convenient routes, offers 360-degree virtual tours, uses Google Maps and supports 194 languages.
ETAP Famagusta emphasizes that it is a 24/7 personal guide that provides information directly from primary sources, not only from the internet, and is available both on the website and in the mobile app.
