Sia Chilli Fest 2025: The village of Sia is preparing to set taste buds on fire

On Sunday, November 2, the village of Sia in the Nicosia district will host the second annual hot pepper festival — Sia Chilli Fest 2025. The organizers promise a true celebration of flavor, music, and fun with competitions, master classes, and tastings.

The event will take place from 10:30 to 16:30 and will bring together producers, chefs, and spicy food enthusiasts from all over Cyprus. Visitors can expect numerous food courts with dishes of various spice levels — from mildly spicy to extremely hot. In addition to the gastronomic program, guests will enjoy DJ music sets, a beverage zone with cocktails and cold beer, and the main competition of the day — Chilli Contest 2025, where participants will compete in eating the hottest types of peppers.

The organizers emphasize that the festival is aimed not only at spice lovers but also at families: the venue will feature relaxation areas, children’s activities, and pavilions with milder dishes.

Safety measures are provided for contest participants — a medical team will be on duty in the competition area, and guests are advised to show moderation and drink plenty of water.

Entrance to the festival is free. Sia Chilli Fest is already being called one of the most colorful autumn events on the island, combining gastronomy, entertainment, and a friendly atmosphere.

The organizers invite everyone — both die-hard chili fans and those who simply want to spend a day outdoors and try something unusual.
