UK Government Urges Citizens to Avoid Travel to Cyprus
The UK government has issued a renewed travel warning for its citizens, advising them to avoid trips to Cyprus due to "ongoing military operations." The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has updated its travel guidelines for tourists heading to 18 countries, including popular holiday destinations, over the next six months.

British nationals planning to travel to the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, and Morocco are specifically warned about the "ongoing military actions."
This advisory follows earlier warnings from the FCDO, which were issued after Israel launched military operations against Iran in the early hours of Saturday, October 26. The advice to refrain from traveling to certain countries has been reiterated several times since then.
"Please continue to monitor this travel advice and stay informed through media reports, as the situation is evolving rapidly," stated the FCDO.
