Elon Musk Congratulates Cypriot Blogger-Deputy: He Hitchhiked to the European Parliament
Billionaire Elon Musk congratulated Fidias Panayiotou on his election to the European Parliament as a Cypriot deputy. The famous American entrepreneur posted his congratulations on his X platform.
In his post, Elon Musk wrote, "Congratulations," and shared a video showcasing the blogger's journey to the European Parliament. The video has been viewed over 18 million times.
"Well deserved praise, you are a great inspiration," businessman Fidias Panayiotou replied to Musk.
It's worth noting that the popular Cypriot blogger and YouTuber won the elections with a significant margin, becoming one of the six Members of the European Parliament from Cyprus. He ran as an independent candidate and received the highest number of votes among all candidates.
Additionally, the elected deputy decided to hitchhike to the European Parliament. The blogger chose to cover the 440 km distance from Brussels to Strasbourg by hitchhiking.
