June Inflation in Cyprus Reaches 3%

According to the European Statistical Agency, Eurostat, June inflation in Cyprus reached 3%.

Annual inflation in the Eurozone in June 2024 was 2.5%. Compared to May, the consumer price index increased by 0.2%.

In the 27 countries of the Eurozone, the annual price growth in June was 2.6%, following a 2.7% increase the previous month.

Annual inflation slowed in 17 EU countries and accelerated in 9 (in Cyprus, it remained unchanged).

The lowest inflation rates were recorded in Finland (0.5%), Italy (0.9%), and Lithuania (1.0%). The highest rates were observed in Belgium (5.4%), Romania (5.3%), and Spain and Hungary (3.6%). Cyprus ranked among the top ten countries with the highest inflation in the EU.
